The 17th juxtaposes three eras: the affluent Haussmann fabric of Plaine Monceau and Ternes, the older working-class streets of Les Épinettes and Batignolles, and the Clichy-Batignolles eco-district completed in the 2010s around Martin Luther King park, whose recent buildings feature flat roofs, green roofs and solar installations.
That diversity produces very different jobs: traditional zinc and slate work on the Monceau side, downpipe repairs and attic leaks in the older Épinettes stock, and waterproofing-system and green-roof maintenance on the recent developments. Slate roof renovation — Paris 6th
Complete renovation of a natural slate roof on a Haussmann building in the heart of the 6th arrondissement. This project aimed to restore the structural and aesthetic integrity of a roof steeped in history.
Terrace waterproofing — Paris 15th
Complete reworking of the waterproofing of a 45 m² terrace on the 5th floor. The existing bitumen waterproofing system was over 20 years old and had numerous micro-cracks and blisters.

Who maintains the green roofs at Clichy-Batignolles?
The recent eco-district buildings have flat roofs, green-roof systems and sometimes solar installations. These need periodic maintenance distinct from a conventional roof: checking drainage, selective weeding, inspecting upstands and equipment penetrations. We work on these systems as well as on the traditional roofs of the Monceau quarter.
Is a building in Les Épinettes treated like a Haussmann block in Monceau?
No. The older stock in Les Épinettes and Batignolles has lighter roof structures, frequently altered coverings and ageing downpipes, where work often centres on attic leaks. The Haussmann buildings of Plaine Monceau call instead for traditional zinc and slate work, on larger and more exposed roofs.
