Essonne (91) combines the Saclay plateau — a rapidly expanding science and tech hub — with vast residential suburbs south of the Orge valley. FDM ENERGIE works here on recent commercial buildings (flat roofs, waterproofing systems) as well as 1970s houses needing renovation.
Local context in Essonne
In Massy, Palaiseau and the Saclay plateau, most projects involve technical flat roofs with multilayer bituminous systems and vapour barriers. Around Évry-Courcouronnes and Corbeil-Essonnes, 1960s–1980s apartment blocks require waterproofing refurbishment. In the south (Étampes, Dourdan), traditional residential housing dominates with high demand for rigid fence replacement.
Our RGE and Qualibat certifications give access to MaPrimeRénov' and CEE grants for eligible roof insulation works. We prepare the technical file for every eligible project.

Slate roof renovation — Paris 6th
Complete renovation of a natural slate roof on a Haussmann building in the heart of the 6th arrondissement. This project aimed to restore the structural and aesthetic integrity of a roof steeped in history.
Terrace waterproofing — Paris 15th
Complete reworking of the waterproofing of a 45 m² terrace on the 5th floor. The existing bitumen waterproofing system was over 20 years old and had numerous micro-cracks and blisters.
